Off to Kona in 13 Days!

In thirteen days, the Ocean River Competitive Outrigger Team is off to Kona Hawaii to compete in the 40th annual Queen Lili outrigger race.  The 30-member team leaves Victoria on August 29th.  We will be staying at the Ohana Retreat (also known as The Kona Plantation) which is located on a 5-acre fruit plantation just south of Kona where we will be acclimatizing and training for several days before completing the grueling 30km race along the Kona coast on September 3rd.

  1. Hey Paul great idea!!! I don't think I have ever "blogged" before. As one of the non-paddlers I have already booked myself on the Body Glove Catamaran to follow along behind the race and cheer on the ladies and men....
